Holy Crap, It’s A Post!

am finally drawing near to the end of the tedious divorce process. And just imagine, I’m getting the easiest kind of divorce possible, and it’s still been a tedious pain in my ass. Seriously, they need to do something to condense this process.
Off to your right, you’ll see the last of MrJames’ Carnival posters, the one for the demon clown, Tiffany, created by Dante’s Shadow to oppose Violent Clay. Click to enlarge — it’s pretty. I missed posting it in the Carnival Art entry.
Speaking of the Carnival and other writing projects . . .
Did you know that publishers expect a manuscript to be between 100,000 and 150,000 words? WTF? I can’t be expected to constrain my literary genius to a mere 150,000 words. Shit, At chapter four, I was pushing 40,000. Okay, I’m kidding. Since I hit the 40,000 mark, I’ve gone back to revise, whittling things down significantly. And it needed it. As regular readers most certainly know, I tend to run on a bit at the keyboard.
I’m hoping to have a bit more spare time and energy after the divorce, to devote to blogging and writing. I’m managing about six spare hours a day, all of which have been devoted to the book. I need to chop that up a bit, and give some to my poor neglected blog, and the Carnival.
