Primaries
o far Barack Obama is in the lead, according to this NYT poll. I love this quote from the article: “I like them both,” said Ann Powers, 64, a coordinator for special education programs in Fort Dodge, Iowa. “I just think he is too inexperienced and she’s dealt with more in the last 20 years.”
I hear that everywhere. “Hillary is more experienced.” In what, exactly? She’s experienced in nailing a president, not being a president. I mean, my husband runs a million-dollar corporate restaurant, but just because I hear him talk about it all the time and run the occasional errand for him doesn’t mean I can run that restaurant.
Also, and don’t get me wrong, here, I liked Bill Clinton, but aren’t we about sick of having the same two families in the White House? I didn’t think America was supposed to be into the whole dynasty thing. Meanwhile, while we’ve all been paying attention to the primaries and nowhere else, there’s still a war on, and we still have a criminally incompetent administration getting away with murder. Heard anything about that in the news lately? Me either.
