That seawater thing is, apparently, bad science. At least according to some nerds. (The science they discuss is admittedly way over my head, but what I can make sense of seems logical, and they do tend to be rather good at calling bullshit when it’s needed.)

I dunno. It seems a bit shady to me, too. I’d like to see some peer review, and some real — named — scientists weighing in on this. The articles I’ve found have all just said, “A scientist says this” without actually naming the scientist or giving any credentials for them.
