Wednesday Riddles
There’s nothing like a visit from Doc Celestine to shake things up. Seriously. I was up until 8:30 this morning, crashed, and got back up at noon. And, I feel tolerably awake. Well, at least on an alert sort of autopilot. Heh.
Much was discussed. Carnival things, stories about Doc’s life down in Ohio — he’s a professional actor, now — perversions . . . it was a long, fun night.
Doc and his road trip buddy were actually supposed to leave yesterday, but we were blessed with a Michigan ice storm that enforced his stay. Personally, I’m hoping the weather remains crappy, so Doc sticks around for another night or two. I was promised gaming, dammit! Should that happen, Art and I will have to take a break from Doc to make an appearance at Art’s company Christmas party. Bah. Drunk kids running around loose. Doesn’t appeal to me. I can barely stand sober kids. But, we won’t be there long, and back to visiting.
In the meantime, your Wednesday Riddle:
From Riddlenut: What book was once owned by only the wealthy, but now everyone can have it? You can’t buy it in a bookstore or take it from a library?
Highlight for the answer: A telephone book.
And that’s all for me, folks. Got house to clean.
